Description: Biennial plant growing 3 to 6 feet in height.In it's first year it remains a basal rosette of leaves. Second year growth brings flowering stems.
Flowers: Terminal, elongated cluster with showy flowers ranging in many colors and spotted, hanging from the stem. Tubular and pendant. Fruit is a capsule.
Leaves: Alternate, soft, toothed, pubescent and ovate in shaped.

This plant is toxic. Although it is toxic at any point in it's life span, it is most potent just before the seeds ripen.
