Description: Shrub with stems reaching 1 to 2.5 m long.
Flowers: Pendandt flowers, 3 to 4.5 cm long. Tube is magenta 10 to 13mm long with magenta sepals 20 to 25 mm long and dark purple petals 10 to 13 mm long. Creates elliptical shaped berries 10 to 15 mm long.
Leaves: Whorls, 3-4 per node. Ovate to lanceolate in shape. 2.5 to 6 cm long serrated margins.
