Description: Annual herb with prostrate stems that frequesnts disturbed areas.
Flowers: Inflourescenes contain only a few flowers, yellow, 3-4.5 mm long. Pods are produced with straight prickles nearly 3 mm long, containing several seeds.
Leaves: 7 to 25 mm long, obovate in shape with prominant pinnate venation.
Reproduction: By seed. Burs stick to fur, shoes, etc.
Flowering: April through October
Habitat and Ecology: Native to Eurasia
